GW’s February 2018 Moot Court Successes

The GW Law Moot Court Board is pleased to announce some weekend success by our board members:…

1. The 3L team of Donald Crowell and Alison Cheperdak won the 24th Annual National Telecommunications Moot Court Competition held at Catholic Law from February 9-10, 2018.  They were coached by alumni adjunct professor M. Ethan Lucarelli, who is a Communications Associate in Wiley Rein LLP’s Washington, D.C. office.

2. International LLM Elizaveta Semenova won Best Oral Advocate at the Philip C. Jessup International Law Mid-Atlantic Regional Moot Court held at GW Law from February 8-11, 2018.  Additionally, the team of 3L Ian O’Keefe, LLM Elizaveta Semenova, 3L Lisa Ann Johnson, 3L Kathryn Penry & 3L Mallory Kruper reached the semi-finals, one win away from advancing to the international rounds.  They were coached by AndrewMichaels, our Visiting Associate Professor and Frank H. Marks Intellectual Property Fellow.
